We are currently recruiting citizen scientists to participate in our study on redbud flowering in Toronto. Participating involves monitoring the flowering stage of a nearby redbud tree (e.g., on your property or at a local park).
Detailed instructions on how to monitor are linked below, but the most important part is that you are able to check on the tree frequently (i.e., every couple of days). In addition to collecting data, owners of redbud trees may be asked to host temperature and pollinator monitoring equipment on their property.
